These look lovely and are just about the size (10 mm) my daughter asked for which was "about the size of a large pearl." The hard part was deciding which size based on the mm but the 10 mm look the perfect size. After arrival, I looked at them under a magnifier because of the comment regarding how well the stud was "glued" to earring. Mine looks soldered and appears firmly attached. I tried them on and they look nice and the backs hold fine. Since they are hollow, they do not droop as a 10 mm solid most certainly would. Absolutely worth the $.

I worried that they would be cheaply made and break easily, but thankfully it's not the case. The ball is so well joined with the post you can hardly tell they aren't made from a single piece of metal. The silver is smooth and bright.
